We helped to update and relaunch the Next Steps online tool, which supports student transition between levels of study. The resource provides students with targeted, specific information, depending on their priorities, their year of study, the college they’re in, and their department.

The resource can be used by individuals, as part of a taught session or to encourage discussion with an Academic Adviser.

Timescale

The original resource took about a month to complete, and went through an iterative design process. It is reviewed annually to make sure the resources it directs students to are relevant and up to date and we play a critical role in updating the Articulate Storyline package, the JavaScript and document links.

Client Involvement

Because of the nature of the project and the wide range of resources, the project is largely client-led and driven by a cross-department working group. They are key in maintaining a database that includes the prompts and the list of resources.
