Episode 2 - Gamification and Neuroinclusion

Lewis teaches politics and international relations in Nottingham and Sheffield and has developed a pedagogy of gamification in his modules. He has seen improvement in the student experience and believes this pedagogy is a great idea to improve neuroinclusion in and out of the classroom.

Dr Lewis Eaves

Dr. Lewis Eves is an Associate Lecturer in International Relations at Sheffield Hallam University and an Teaching Associate in International Relations at the University of Nottingham. His disciplinary research explores the intersection of history and security in East Asia. He is also developing a pedagogic research agenda, emphasising neuroinclusive teaching and the use of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning. He gained his PhD in Politics in 2023 from Sheffield Hallam University and has also held academic positions at the Universities of Sheffield and Essex. Before entering academia, he held wellbeing roles at various universities offering support and guidance to students in crisis.
