Course Leaders

Course Leaders

Being a course leader is a key role in supporting the development and running of our courses. This page has resources to support course leaders with doing their role.

Course Leader Role Descriptors

These role descriptors (on our SharePoint site) provide staff with a high-level outline of the key responsibilities of undertaking the role of course leader. The context and precise activities may differ according to type, size and complexity of the course.

Who are our Course Leaders?

All course leaders are allocated to their respective courses on Curriculum View (SITS). You can access and download a list of allocated course leaders from Curriculum View (SITS) by name, college, department, course etc.

Allocation of course and module leader names in Curriculum View (SITS) is the responsibility of the individual course/module leader. Please follow the guidance on how to do this.

Course Leader allocations

Have you checked to see if you have had your course(s) allocated to you? All staff undertaking the Course Leader role must be allocated to their course(s) by the end of August and December each year.
