What is Blackboard Ultra? 

Blackboard Ultra is the latest version of Blackboard, the universities current VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) provider. 
From the start of the 2024/25 academic year all module sites will be hosted on Blackboard Ultra and automatically populated with the generic SHU template.

How to access Blackboard Ultra?

There are multiple ways to access Blackboard Ultra, you can login via MyHallam, through the link on the Staff Intranet or navigate directly to Blackboard using your browser search function.

Blackboard Ultra sites can be found in the same location as classic sites, on the site navigation under ‘Modules’ for Module sites, or ‘Organisations’ for Organisation sites.
