There are many ways to support students with your well-designed assessments, from providing the correct information for them to allow them to complete the assessment properly, answering queries and adjusting the assessment for disabled students.

Below are the core requirements for supporting students with assessments.

During assessments, an FAQ should be set up for students to ask questions about the assessment. That can be set up in a Blackboard discussion, a Padlet board, or other tool. 

It is worth highlighting to students the support services available to them from the University which support assessment including:

• Assessment guidance for students
• Wellbeing support
• Support from the Library & Skills Centre
• Academic integrity resources such as the Hallam Mini-modules (available inside course organisation sites)
