Reassessments

Students may be offered a reassessment attempt at an assessment task. This could be because they did not pass the assessment the first time or because they had extenuating circumstances which were accepted by the University.

Course and module leaders are responsible for ensuring that all reassessment information is published to students in a timely and consistent fashion. Module leaders will normally set referral/deferral tasks at the same time as setting the first sit tasks, prior to release to students at the start of teaching. Reassessment of work is undertaken on a task-for task basis.
