Training for Supporting Students in Distress

The University is launching two mandatory e-learning courses as part of the Connected Student Welfare Project. These courses have been designed and developed to support academic and student-facing staff in understanding our legal obligations and supporting students.

The E-learning modules are mandatory for all academic and student-facing staff. Although it is useful for all staff to know this information to support students and support a culture of inclusion.
In these modules, you will

Understand legal responsibilities.
Identify learning barriers and reasonable adjustments.
Apply inclusive teaching practices and implement reasonable adjustments
Supporting students in distress using consistent guidance
Understanding referral routes and improving the student experience

How to Access the E-Learning Module
