PebblePad is a fully-featured system for creating electronic portfolios and workbook assessments, to evidence your students' learning journeys.
In PebblePad assessments can be set up flexibly to allow students to record experiences and achievements, evidenced with personal reflection and uploaded files. This can be for a single module, a whole programme, or extra-curricular activity. It can even be used for staff-facing development or training.
Enrolment of tutors and learners can be managed via Blackboard. In addition, external assessors can be added easily without the need for a University account, making PebblePad ideal for work placements and apprenticeships.
Assessments can be set up as formal workbooks, or as freeform portfolios where students can be fully creative with the process of formatting their work. Staff can feed back on students' work at any point, building in formative feedback opportunities throughout the process.
Due to the flexible ways PebblePad can be set up, you are recommended to speak with the Digital Learning Team before using it for the first time.
